Training & Testing

Prepare the Patient for Transfer, Safe Patient Transfers, The Latest Techniques in Body
Mechanics, Latest Techniques for use of Gait Belts, Slide Boards, and Transfer Devices;
plus 5 different Zero-Lift Transfer Techniques for Nursing staff and 15 different Zero-Lift
Transfer Techniques for Therapy department to safely and easily transfer anyone.

  1. On-site Day Training: one-on-one, learn by doing. (1½/2 hr. classroom)
  2. Two weeks after Day Training:  Performance-Test (helps you identify problem areas to master before certification test
  3. One month after Day Training:  Certification Testing 
  4. Friday, week of the test:   Tests Graded, results and certificates sent to corporate headquarters
  5. Every 90 Days after Certification Testing:  Retest to maintain the highest possible standards for safe transfer
    • TEST A:  is given  30 Days after Day Training
    • TEST A:  is repeat  3 Months after Day Training
    • TEST B:  is given   6 Months after Day Training
    • TEST B:  is repeat 9 Months after Day Training
    • TEST C:  is given   1 Year after Day Training (Final Exam)
  6. On-line training is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week with both step-by-step instruction and videos of transfer techniques for your review and to answer any questions you may have
